Lag Screw Sizing
We are going to make a table top out of 2x8's. The 2x8's will be held together by some 2x4's underneath the table top. We will use lag screws to hold the 2x8 boards to the 2x4's underneath.
How long should the lag screws be? How much of the screw will bite into the top 2x8's?
