Tire Lifetime

A typical tire starts with about 10/32" of tread depth. A tire is considered unsafe when it has 2/32" of tread depth, or even before that. A typical tire loses about 1/32" of tread depth every 6,000 miles. About how many miles can you drive on a typical tire?
